Yeah, people love to think this one is true. It's about Americans and we all "know" how stupid they are right? Wrong. The stupidity is a myth and the "news paper article" is a satire created by Sensacionalista. The woman and the child in the article has nothing to do with it and Sensacionalista have apologized for using the photo without their permission.
The joke is not really about stupid Americans but about stupid people all over the world who think that the article is true. It would be funny, if it wasn't so sad that there are so many idiots in this world.
